One plan the whole group can see

Group trips usually have a plan, and it usually lives in one person's head. Giterra puts it somewhere everyone can look: a day-by-day itinerary anyone in the trip can read and add to, so the question "what are we doing tomorrow?" has an answer that is not a scroll through the chat.

Days, times, and the things in between

Each entry gets a date, a start time and a length, so the day reads as a schedule rather than a wish list. Entries are typed by what they are — transport, stay, food, activity, culture, nature, nightlife, shopping, wellness — which makes a packed day easy to scan at a glance.

Add the address and Giterra keeps the coordinates and a map link with it, so getting there is one tap from the plan itself.

The booking sits with the plan

A train time is more useful with the ticket attached. Documents already stored in the trip can be attached to the itinerary entry they belong to, so the boarding pass is on the flight and the reservation is on the restaurant — not somewhere in a folder you have to go looking for.

Notes go on the entry too: the door code, the person to ask for, the thing you agreed at dinner and would otherwise forget.

A reminder before it starts

Set an alert on anything that matters and everyone who can see the entry gets a nudge before it starts — in the trip's local timezone, not the one your phone was in when you planned it. Nobody has to be the person who reminds everyone else.

  • Entries can be visible to the whole group or only to the people involved
  • Changes show up for everyone immediately, so there is one version of the plan
  • Days with nothing in them stay empty — a shared itinerary does not have to be a full schedule

The point is not to plan every hour. It is that whatever you did plan is somewhere the whole group can find it.
